At Blake Envelopes we are committed to helping others and support a number of local and national charities each year, making substantial donations. The worthy charities we select cover a wide spectrum of causes. We spend a lot of time researching the work done and many of these relate to circumstances that have touched the lives of our staff and friends.
Dorchester Stroke Club
Blake made a donation of £500 to the Dorchester Stroke Club, which will go towards helping them in their work with persons who have suffered a stroke or other neurological disorder.
Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance
Blake have donated £500 to Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, supporting them in the work they do to provide relief from sickness and injury for the people of Dorset and Somerset.
St Margaret's Hospice
Blake have donated £500 to St Margaret's Hospice, a superb local care system delivering high quality, responsive and compassionate care to patients who are facing a life-limiting illness, and their families, which has been at the heart of Somerset’s community for over 39 years.
Marple Scouts
Blake made a donation to Marple Scouts, a young group ages between 14-17 who had the opportunity to visit and travel around Japan earlier last year, and we wanted to help make sure they had the best experience possible!
MCR Pathways
Blake have donated £500 to MCR Pathways, Glasgow, a school-based mentoring programme, helping them in the work they do offering support for disadvantages young people, enabling them to realise their full potential through education.
Youth Shedz
Blake have donated £500 to Youth Shedz, Wales, which will help them in the work they do providing safe places for young people to develop and learn new skills, and help them to have a brighter future.
T S Mantle
Blake have donated £500 to TS Mantle Yeovil Sea Cadets, who offer children aged 10-18 the chance to develop themselves as young people mentally, physically and spiritually. This will provide the equipment to give 24 cadets the opportunity to register for the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze and Silver award.
